● Ghostwriting for fintech founders & financial-services experts

You know your industry; I'll help the world understand it.

You have the expertise, the product, and the hard-won lessons; I turn it all into content people actually want to read.

Former clients include

The problem

Expertise isn't enough.

You can explain your product to an investor, a regulator, and your own engineering team in the same afternoon, but for the people you most need to reach, it's a bit more complex.

Hear me out: In a way, founders in finance know too much. The knowledge often lives in your head; in sales calls; in a Slack thread from March. It rarely translates into content that a prospect can read and then walk away with just a bit more knowledge than they had before.

  • Time

If you're busy running a company, writing every week just isn't realistic.

  • Distance

You're too close to the subject to see what a newcomer doesn't understand.

  • Voice

Agency copy is starting to sound just like everyone else, and your prospects can likely tell.

  • Rules

Finance is a heavily regulated field. Your writer (me) has to know how to dance around the red tape.

Services

Three ways to get your knowledge on the page.

Pick one; or stack them. Every asset is written in your voice and published under your name.

Evergreen content

Voice + Positioning

Newsletters, social posts, thought leadership, op-eds, guest articles, and social writing that turn your expertise into a consistent, recognizable voice, month after month.

Long-form

Thought leadership

eBooks, lead magnets, research reports, white papers, and case studies that explain difficult ideas clearly and give your marketing teams something substantive to share.

Included in every asset: content strategy, research, editing, and messaging.

Proof

I've been translating ideas for a while.

Before ghostwriting, I led content and messaging for some of the biggest names in financial services. Here's where that started.

Featured · Wealth management · Platform launch

Goldman Sachs: Advisor Solutions

Goldman Sachs brought me on to help build a new service platform, Advisor Solutions, from the ground up. The audience was advisors and RIAs seeking independence and growth, people who read fine print for a living.

I directed the full-funnel messaging strategy, voice, and tone, led weekly cross-functional strategy sessions, and wrote every content asset from outline to final copy while the initiative evolved in real time.

Fintech · Global payments · UX writing

OnePay × MoneyGram

OnePay's first-ever international money transfer, built into the app. I led UX copywriting strategy across design, animation, and writing teams, and wrote the microcopy and guidance flows.

Outcome: complex cross-border transfers made simple enough to use mid-errand, with stronger feature adoption.

Insurance × lending · Campaign

State Farm × LightStream

A landing page and campaign that turned paid traffic into informed leads. I built frameworks for translating technical lending and insurance products into plain language, alongside legal, UX, and brand teams.

Outcome: a multichannel campaign that improved customer comprehension and strengthened brand trust.

The Content-to-Revenue Roadmap

The best way to judge an email course is to take one. This is mine, written for fintech founders and marketers whose content gets attention but not enough pipeline.

It's the same format I build for clients. Read it as a subscriber, then picture it in your voice, for your buyers.

  1. Day 1Attention ≠ qualified leads
  2. Day 2Every post should not feel like a product pitch
  3. Day 3Impressions ≠ business outcomes
  4. Day 4Your champion likes it, but everyone else has questions
  5. Day 5They trust you. But why should they buy?

Process

How your voice ends up on the page.

You talk. I listen closely, ask annoying questions, and write. You spend about an hour a month on this; I spend the rest.

  1. Week 1

    Voice interview

After your free 30-minute consultation, we sit down for a recorded 60–90 minute conversation. I learn how you explain things, what you're tired of hearing in your industry, and which stories you keep telling.

  2. Week 1–2

    Map the ideas

I turn that conversation into a content plan: the topics, the angle on each, and who they're for. You approve it before I write a word.

  3. Week 2–4

    Draft & refine

Full drafts in your voice followed by two rounds of revisions. I flag anything that needs a compliance look so your team isn't hunting for it.

  4. Ongoing

    Ship it

Finished, ready-to-publish assets. For ongoing work, we repeat the interview monthly so the content keeps up with what you're learning.

About

Hi. I'm Dev.

And the answer is yes: writing helps me see the world clearly. This world tends to be unclear. Foggy. Diluted. Strange, even. Finance especially.

I've been a copywriter for nearly a decade. I've written 15-character headlines that lived on billboards along the Las Vegas Strip and 5,000-word white papers on topics so esoteric I won't name them here. Along the way I picked up strategy, creative direction, content design, and an eagle eye for editing.

Ghostwriting is where it all comes together. I get to sit with people who know something the world needs to hear, and help them say it well. Where I come from, stories are what we pass down. Your expertise deserves the same care.

Love is divine only and difficult always.— Toni Morrison

What do you know that your market doesn't yet?

Book a 30-minute call. Tell me about your company, your audience, and the idea you keep meaning to write down. I'll tell you (honestly) which format fits, or if none of them do.
